This moving ceremony is performed each year in conjunction with Wreaths Across America. Thanks to everyone who participated! The participants, led by the Color Corps, moves to each garden in the cemetery, where the participants place wreaths at the graves of the Knights and Veterans buried in that garden. Then a prayer is said, and the names of all those Knights/Veterans resting in that garden are read. It takes about an hour to cover all the gardens in the cemetery.
The Color Corps presents the colors for all the gardens and for Taps at the end. This week was very busy for our team, as they also led the Our Lady of Guadalupe procession and the Leesburg Christmas Parade as well as other events at other parishes.
