Every year, the Knights of Columbus Holy Family council makes donations to seminarians in the diocese to help pay for their education. This is part of the Knights national program called the Refund Support Vocations Program (RSVP). Traditionally, the council has sponsored two seminarians in their studies. However this year, we were able to increase our donation to FOUR total. Three of the students are from the diocese, and one is part of the Military chaplain program, with $500 going to each of them to help offset the cost of their studies. Being able to expand our donation quantity to four, is thanks in large part to the generosity of the people of St. John the Apostle. By supporting our fundraisers throughout the year allows us to increase our donations to worthy causes, with this being one of them. As taking care of our priests is one of the most important priorities or our council.
