Once again, the Knights of Columbus Sponsored and set up the Miracles of the Eucharist Poster display in fellowship hall. These posters showed the work of Carlo Acutis, a young Italian Catholic, dedicated his life to documenting and spreading awareness about "Eucharistic miracles," where the consecrated bread and wine of the Eucharist visibly transformed into flesh and blood.
The posters were on display through the 40 hours of Eucharistic Devotion beginning Thursday Night February 6, and were on display throughout the event, and stayed up for all Saturday and Sunday Masses. We'd like to give a heartfelt thanks to generosity of all the parishioners who donated. We more than doubled our donation from last year. All proceeds will go to St. Mary's and Fatima Shrine to help offset the cost of the posters, who generously loan the posters out to other parishes in the region.
Finally, BIG thank you to the Brother Knights who volunteered this weekend. Including Rob Jackson, Steve Farley, David Kreider, Jason Ziemienski, Jake Koenig, Bob Romich and Mark Nachajski - who picked up the posters from Maryland.
We hope to continue events like this in the years to come as we help spread our faith!
