For those of you new to this event here are the basics:
We set up hay bales with paper targets.
The children are taught how to safely use a bow and arrow.
They receive plenty of practice firing into the hay bales.
When everyone is ready, we replace the bullseye targets with a paper turkey target and the children compete to see who can put an arrow closest to the center.
The winner in each age group wins a frozen turkey for their family! (subject to availability) After the competition, we will all gather for lunch and the awards ceremony. I hope to see you all there!
