Saint John the Apostle is truly blessed to have a Perpetual Adoration chapel, where our parishioners and guests can spend time with the Lord in prayer and Adoration.
The Blessed Sacrament is normally exposed for 96 hours every week at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception, at the corner of N King Street and Union Street NW.
Adoration starts on Mondays at 9:00 AM, concluding with Benediction and reposition on Fridays before the 8:30 AM Mass.
Please reference additional information in the "HIGHLIGHTS" section below.
If you have questions about Eucharistic Adoration, or would like to volunteer, please email coordinator Mariano Buitrago at adoration@stjohnleesburg.com.

While our ministry is blessed to count on over 200 volunteers, we are always looking out for more volunteers who can commit to a regular hour (or more) per week, to keep Jesus company.
Our goal is to have between 2-3 adorers per time slot, as we cannot leave the Blessed Sacrament alone while it is exposed. There are certain hours where we have fewer than 2 committed adorers, or no committed adorers, and we publish that information regularly to look for additional volunteers.
“Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist, come back to that Adoration.”
- Mother Teresa
